"Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3" is a 2016 Indian romantic comedy film written and directed by Umesh Shukla. It is the third installment in the Kyaa Kool Hain Hum film series. The sequel to the 2012 film "Kyaa Superkool Hain Hum", "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3" focuses on a group of four friends, Ramu, Rahul, Lucky and Zafar who are having problems with their current partners. Disheartened, they decide to go to Goa for a break. However, when Rahul finds out that his long lost crush, Rhea Sharma is also in Goa, he decides to find her so that he can ask her out. But destiny has other plans for the boys as they accidently kill a dreaded gangster named Bunty Binola and soon find themselves at the centre of the crime world. This causes them to face many obstacles in their journey of finding Rhea.
Ramshankar Rajjak was selected as the cinematographer for "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3". He replaced Nitin Chandrakant Desai who had earlier worked on the first two films. The film was shot in Goa, India. The first teaser of the film was released online on 5 May 2016. It featured Saif Ali Khan dancing to a remix song "Baby Doll" by Raghav Sachar and Badshah. The music for the trailer was created by Amaal Mallik, Badshah, Raghav Sachar and Sunny Bawra. A second teaser was released on 8 May 2016 which featured Saif Ali Khan performing a dance along with Tapsee Pannu. The third teaser was released on 15 May 2016 which featured Saif Ali Khan's voiceover. The trailer for the film was released the following day with the song "Baby Doll" remixed by Badshah. A fourth teaser of the film was released on 24 May 2016 that featured almost all the actors in the film dancing to a remix of "Manwa Laage" by Amit Trivedi, Badshah and Raghav Sachar. A fifth teaser featuring Tapsee Pannu's voiceover was also released on 25 May 2016. The first poster of the film was released on 22 March 2016 featuring Saif Ali Khan and Tara Alisha Berry kissing each other. Saif Ali Khan performed a small stunt in the film where he had to fall from the top of a building, this was shot in Goa, India. A second poster featuring Saif Ali Khan and Kunaal Roy Kapur was released on 30 March 2016. A third poster of the film was released two days later. The film's trailer and promos were banned by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for profanity and vulgarity; director Shukla clarified that he will re-submit them for review. The trailer and promos were again rejected by the CBFC, prompting Shukla to withdraw it from release.
